STEM can be defined as a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific fields which are Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM education is becoming increasingly essential in our society as technology continues to grow in our daily lives. These STEM’s activities have been incorporated in a concept of outdoor learning environments to give the students early exposure in a fun and approachable way. There are four main activities provided during these two days including hydraulic powered robotic arm, hockey magnet game, shooter game, and game ball maze. The students had chance to understand the working principle of a dispenser through the DIY dispenser machines.
- To give students an exposure to understanding the principles of hydraulic pressure system and its applications.
- The students could understand the principle of the magnetic field and its applications in daily lives.
- The students can explore the kinematics principles, including the position, velocity, and acceleration subjected to projectile motion.
- To expose the students to understanding how things move and emphasize on the relationship between forces applied to an object, and resulting motion of the object.
