Research Summary:  In a PV solar system, temperature is inversely proportional to efficiency of solar panel.  Various works have revealed that the efficiency of solar panel increased by cooling parts of the PV panels (decreasing the temperature) through different techniques/methods and/with cooling media.

In this project, we focus on the technical performance study of a silicon based solar panel with water immersion cooling technique at UCTS, SIBU.  Up to now, there is no record on this point in Sibu considering different weather, humidity and geographic location.  Important parameters are then recorded and analyzed.  At the end of the project, profiling, analyzing the data and validating the performance will be carried out simultaneously
